Romo, Jenkins named to Pro Bowl

The Dallas Cowboys added two more players to the club's already seven Pro Bowl selections as CB Mike Jenkins and QB Tony Romo were added as injury replacements Monday.

Jenkins will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance, filling in for Minnesota's Antoine Winfield (foot). Jenkins earned his first career nod as the second-year cornerback took over Dallas' starting right cornerback position earlier this season and led the team with career-highs for interceptions (five) and pass breakups (23).

Romo will be making his third appearance after taking over for Brett Favre (ankle). Romo finished his third season as the Cowboys full time starter with single-season career-highs and team records for atttempts (550), completions (347), passing yards (4,483) and 300-yard games (eight). Romo also became the first Cowboys quarterback to be on the field for every snap of the season.

Jenkins and Romo join Dallas' original Pro Bowl selections - Miles Austin, Leonard Davis, Andre Gurode, Jay Ratliff, DeMarcus Ware and Jason Witten - and Terence Newman, who was added as an injury replacement last week.

Dallas' nine total selections tie for the sixth-most selections in club history.
