Cowboys sign Brock

The Dallas Cowboys signed tight end Kevin Brock today.

Brock originally signed with Carolina as a rookie free agent in 2009, but was released by the Panthers at the end of training camp.

He immediately signed to the New York Jets' active roster until his release on Sept. 6. He was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad on Sept. 15, where he stayed until being released on Nov. 2 and then signed with the Chicago Bears on Jan. 4, 2010. He remained with Chicago until his release on May 25.

Brock played collegiately at Rutgers, where he recorded 49 receptions for 541 yards in his final two years after spending his first two seasons as a blocking tight end.
