Who would have thought that this would be the game between the 4th and 3rd place team in the AFC east? I would make some prediction on Sparano's future based on winning or losing but it seems he will be here through thick and/or thin. I think we can win this game without having much from Moore. Time for Daniel Thomas to get introduced to the rivalry and make his presence felt. I like us to get our first win here with solid defense for the first time this year. !7-14
Hope on a win for sheer bragging rites and nothing more. The season for us is going to be a game by game basis, if there is only two games we win this year, for me, it will be two wins against the jests.
You have the Jets who have their backs against the wall, at home on MNF. This game is basically our entire season.... If we go 2-4 it's over. This makes me think the Jets come out like a house on fire... if they don't, there is something really wrong with them.
On the other hand you've got the Dolphins and I don't really know what to think of your team. You're 0-4.... but you're probably the best 0 fer team the league has had in a long time, so you gotta respect the talent on the roster. On the other hand, I don't know if the team is really going to go play for Sparano, and if they have given up on the season already (whether they will admit it to themselves or not).
I don't know why the Jets are favored by so many points (when they really don't deserve to be favored by more than 3 pts considering how poorly they played) It's really fishy.... it makes me think that the bookmakers might know something we don't. You guys aren't THAT bad, and coming off the bye, it's really surprising we opened as more than a TD favorite.
All that being said, I think at this point the Jets have a heck of a lot more to play for in this game, and they win... Jets 24- Dolphins 16

What up fellow fin fans.... I know I haven't been on much this year, believe me it's not because of our record, because those of you that have known me as poster, know that ain't me. I probably had the most posts the year we only won 1 flipping game... Been extremely busy with work and family issues, and this board over the years has a tendency to consume me and I really just don't have the time to allow it do so right now.
But I defineatly needed to make a post on this game. I don't care if we lose every other game this year (ok, that's not true, but yous guyz gets me's point).. To have the Jets lose 4 in a row and hopefully cause a lot more locker room problems and also get that great NY media to continue to attack,,, is something that I would take great pleasure in.... . And I don't see a reason why we can't do this. That defense is not on the level it's been the past few years, Sanchez is the qb I thought he was and that he has been despite what over hype that he has recieved prior. We are coming off the bye, we are a bit more healthy, we have the frickin' talent despite what we have showed. This is where the leadership in the lockeroom needs to step up, everyone needs to be accountable and man the hell up. As a biased fin fan, I think Moore and Marshall step up and we pull this one out on the road..
Hey Spad it's been hard both on and for everyone in their everyday lives, with what's been happening with economy and such. Sometimes the only island we can retreat to is our 3-4 hrs watching our favorite team. The performance tonight will tell not only us, but the league whether we are tanking the season on purpose for Luck. I have a feeling that we might see Sage in tonight if Moore starts to stink it up.
