Roster Move, Lineup Changes

The Dolphins' lineup for Sunday's game at Minnesota includes one new player and interesting developments at quarterback and on the defensive line.

On the defensive line, Randy Starks is sliding from nose tackle to defensive end, where he started last season, to replace the injured Jared Odrick. Paul Soliai, meanwhile, will get the start at nose tackle.

At quarterback, it's Chad Pennington who will be the third quarterback and not Tyler Thigpen, as was the case for the opener. We won't know until after the game whether this has anything to do with Pennington being sick or having a minor injury, although we can tell you he was not on the injury report all week.

As for the new player, it's defensive end Ryan Baker who was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad. To make room, the Dolphins waived rookie defensive end Rob Rose, who had been claimed off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.
