Linebacker Erik Walden was brought back last week to help improve the struggling special teams, but if anything, things got worse against the Jets and Walden had a hand in the blocked punt. So Walden is gone, as the Dolphins make yet another roster move.
Walden was released on Wednesday, with defensive end Rob Rose being signed off the practice squad.
To refresh your memory, Rose is a rookie from Ohio State who spent time in training camp with the Seattle Seahawks before he was waived and the Dolphins claimed him.
To fill the open spot on the practice squad, the Dolphins have signed second-year wide receiver Brooks Foster from North Carolina.
