Pennington Starting At QB

Coach Tony Sparano began his press conference on Wednesday by announcing that Chad Pennington would start at quarterback Sunday when the Dolphins take on the Tennessee Titans.

"I took a lot of things under consideration," Sparano said. "This is not an indictment on Chad Henne. This is not an indictment on his future. This is something I feel I need to do for this football team."

This will be Pennington's first start since the Week 3 game against San Diego last season when he sustained a shoulder injury that landed him on IR.

When asked whether this was a week-to-week or permanent decision, Sparano replied, "Chad Pennington is the quarterback right now."

Henne has thrown for 1,900 yards this season, with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions and a passer rating of 78.2.
