Sparano Hires Son

The Dolphins announced a slew of coaching moves on Wednesday, and by far the most noteworthy was the addition of Tony Sparano Jr. as offensive quality control. Yes, he's the son of head coach Tony Sparano and he joins the Dolphins after being an assistant coach for Hartford of the UFL.

The rest of the moves include Karl Dorrell moving from wide receivers coach to quarterbacks coach, Darren Rizzi being promoted from assistant special teams coach to special teams coordinator, former offensive quality control coach Steve Bush being promoted to wide receivers coach, Dave Fipp joining the team as assistant special teams coach, and former Bucs first-round pick Ike Hilliard joining the Dolphins as assistant wide receivers coach.
