Moore was expected to start off at weakside linebacker, with the idea he would use time on special teams as a rookie and probably little else.
And why not? Greenwood, a former third-round pick, simply hasn't produced enough in his first two seasons for him to be a lock to start. Now, we're not starting Moore is going to supplant him, but if the rookie has a strong training camp and preseason, then it's worth exploring.
From all indications, Moore is faster than Greenwood. The concern will be whether he can hold up physically because he is undersized.
But it certainly will be a battle to keep an eye on until the start of the regular season.
