Quick Return

We're not quite sure yet what led to this development, but the Dolphins obviously have decided after all that Larry Johnson could help the team.

The veteran running back was re-signed Thursday, five days after he was among the team's final cuts.

His signing could mean the Dolphins aren't comfortable yet with rookie second-round pick Daniel Thomas as the complement to Reggie Bush or perhaps Thomas is dealing with an injury of some sort.

The Dolphins' first official injury report is due later Thursday.

To make room for Johnson, the Dolphins waived guard Ray Feinga.

The Dolphins now have four running backs on the roster, the fourth being Lex Hilliard.
