This has been a busy week for the Dolphins, beginning with Monday's signing of quarterback Brian Griese. Since then, they have made a few roster moves, the most notable involving safety Arturo Freeman.

Freeman, who was a restricted free agent, was re-signed to a one-year contract at the tender of $605,000. The Dolphins were allowed to reduce that amount to $450,000 had Freeman not signed before June 15.

The only Dolphins player on the roster who is unsigned is defensive end Adewale Ogunleye, who is an exclusive-rights free agent.

-- The Dolphins have released four players signed this offseason, the most notable being quarterback Josh Blankenship.

The other players waived were cornerback Bashir Levingston, center Matt O'Neal and wide receiver/kick returner Keith Stokes.

-- Don't be shocked if wide receiver Oronde Gadsden re-signs with the Dolphins in the next couple of days. The Dolphins have a standing offer for the veteran minimum of $530,000, but may be reaching the point of telling Gadsden to take it now or leave it.

-- Three Dolphins players will be in action on Saturday when NFL Europe stages World Bowl XI.

The three are wide receiver Kendall Newson, who plays for Rhein, and wide receiver Robert Baker and defensive tackle Johnny Thomas, who both play for Frankfurt.

Four Dolphins players earned All-League selection for their play in NFL Europe: Baker, Newson, guard/center Troy Andrew and defensive end Lamanzer Williams, who led the league with 10.5 sacks.
