Defensive tackle Tim Bowens is the latest Dolphins starter to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.
Bowens underwent arthroscopic surgery on Thursday to repair cartilage damage and probably will miss the rest of the preseason.

Bowens had missed practice time, as well as Monday's preseason game against Tampa Bay, because his left knee was bothering him. But the problem is that Bowens actually was favoring his right knee, which troubled him for a good part of the 2000 season.
Bowens played through the injury last year, bypassing surgery.
"We've got to get Tim back as soon as we can, and we'll get him back," said Coach Dave Wannstedt. "But we've got great depth on the defensive line. Ernest Grant and Damian Gregory have been doing a good job."
