On May 11th, Tom Brady was suspended for violating the league's policy on the integrity of the game. His suspension was set for four games, and Brady appealed this suspension yesterday morning at 9:30 AM.
Commissioner Roger Goodell gave Brady four hours to present his case to have his suspension reduced or eradicated completely. However, the process took ten hours total. As these types of appeals often do.
However, on the bright side, no more appeals were scheduled. So whatever ends up coming from this appeal should be final. For now. Upon hearing the concluding remarks, Brady and his agent will have to decide whether or not they want to take the case to federal court, which could last months.
According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the timetable for when Goodell will make his decision is unclear.
More to come on this later. In the mean time, here is a video of what some Pats fans on the scene had to say about Brady's suspension.
