Miami Dolphins Chicago Bears Preview

The Miami Dolphins travel to Solider Field to take on the Chicago Bears for the opening of 2015 preseason action.

It is finally time for Miami Dolphins football! The long wait is over, and for the first time since last December the Dolphins will suit up and enter a full speed game atmosphere. The ‘Fins play their first of four preseason games starting with a road game against the Chicago Bears.

The game will be played in Chicago’s Soldier Field, and is scheduled to start at 8 pm EDT, and will be carried by CBS.

The Dolphins, who currently have many players on the roster bubble, will begin the process of narrowing down their roster. The first cuts come after the third preseason game.

The players I will be watching the closest for the Dolphins are linebackers Chris McCain, Jordan Tripp and Koa Misi. McCain has been the favorite all offseason to step up and start at the outside linebacker position. As for the cornerbacks, I am eager to see Jamar Taylor’s performance in the first game-like scenario of the season.

As for the Bears, all eyes will surely be on quarterback Jay Cutler, who will play his first game under John Fox, former head coach of the Denver Broncos, where Cutler began his career.

The Bears and Dolphins met last year in Week 7 at Soldier Field. The Dolphins completely owned the Bears 27-14 as Jay Cutler was sacked multiple times.
