Can Dolphins Beat Texans, Start 6-0?

The Miami Dolphins are in position to have a great start to the year. With games against Washington, Jacksonville, Buffalo and the Jets, the Dolphins should be feeling good about a chance at a playoff run. Miami should be sitting on top of the AFC east division at 5-0.

After that, things will get very interesting. For the Dolphins to continue their way into a playoff position, a win against the lonely Titans will set up a great matchup and a must win over the Texans, which will not be an easy task. Since the Texans came into the league, they hold a whopping 7-0-lifetime record against the Dolphins. YES you heard me correctly: 7-0. The last time they met, Houston lambasted Miami 30-10 at Reliant Stadium.

With an upgraded and very talented defensive line, which now includes the addition of Ndamukong Suh, the Dolphins will hopefully hold the Texans scoreless. Andre Johnson was released from the Texans earlier this year. Tannehill can use his talented offense, which has added Kenny Stills to an already talented and young receiver core, to beat a team that has dominated them in the past.

A win over Houston will give the Dolphins an added incentive to finally believe that they are a playoff bound team by beating an opponent that has had their number since 2003. With this win, I believe Miami is and will be a playoff team.

On October 25th get your tickets ready. Get to the stadium early. Have a beer in hand, food in your belly and while making your way to your seats, have this song in your head…

Miami has the Dolphins The Greatest Football Team We take the ball from goal to goal Like no one's ever seen We're in the air, we're on the ground We're always in control And when you say Miami You're talking Super Bowl

'Cause we're the...

Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins Number One. Yes we're the... Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins Number One

Have hope Dolphins fans. In years past, the Patriots have had our number and we have beaten them on a regular basis. It is time Houston loses their confidence and the Dolphins dominate them for years to come. At the end of the day, it only takes one point to WIN.
