Miami Dolphins Cornerback injuries

In Saturday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers, the Miami Dolphins had two minor injuries occur to a key defensive position.

Cornerback Jamar Taylor suffered a quad injury in the second quarter. He is downplaying the injury as being nothing too serious. Before getting hurt, Taylor had an interception that he almost returned for a touchdown.

If Jamar Taylor is not a go for next week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, Brice McCain will more than likely get the starting nod. McCain was signed in the offseason and played last year with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Another key injury at the cornerback position was to the rookie Bobby McCain. He injured his ankle early in the second half. He too is downplaying the injury as nothing to worry about.

Here is hoping that during this week, the Miami Dolphins can heal up some nicks and bruises and be ready for a great matchup with the Falcons on Saturday. I know that pre-season means nothing in the standings but for mental psyche it would be nice to have a win in the column.
