I have been lost for words for the better part of the last twelve hours. I am typing this at halftime, so forgive me if I fail to mention whatever happens in the second half. That being said, what a first half from the Miami Dolphins, possibly the best half in franchise history.
They absolutely destroyed the Houston Texans, in all three phases of the game. They came out aggressive on defense, and Ndamukong Suh recorded his first 2 sacks of the year in back-to-back fashion.
On the offensive side of the ball, Ryan Tannehill had the best first half of his career, with a 100% completion rate and four TD's, inclduing two to Jarvis Landry. Oh yeah, Jarvis Landry is the real deal. An absolute animal.
What was perhaps the best part of this game (first half wise at least), was Lamar Miller racking up 175 yards rushing and 2 overall TD's in the first half. When the Dolphins use him, he's one of the most explosive backs in the NFL. I
The Dolphins have a short week as they take this momentum to New England to face the New England Patriots.
They'll need to play a similar type of game to have a shot at the defending Super Bowl Champions on the road.
