Dolphins Lose Cameron Wake For Season

Miami Dolphins pro-bowl defensive end Cameron Wake is out for the remainder of the season with an Achilles tendon injury.

This will impact the defense in a HUGE way.  After the change at the defensive coordinator position Wake and the rest of the defense woke up and have been playing some stellar defense, including all pro defensive end Cameron Wake.  In the last three games, Wake has accumulated seven sacks and has been a force to reckon with in the last couple of weeks.

Now that Cameron Wake is out for the rest of the year. Who will be the player to take his place?  In my opinion you can replace Wake but you cannot replace his skill, his leadership his competitiveness that he has shown on the field and in the locker room.  The Dolphins will now turn to backups Derrick Shelby and Terrence Fede both have played in this position but neither has the pass rush or the reps to be compared to Wake.
