Dallas Cowboys Drown Dolphins 24-14

With Tony Romo back at the helm, The Miami Dolphins faced a newly recharged Dallas Cowboys team, and faltered down the stretch.

The game was going great in the first half with the Miami Dolphins running the ball and I thought Lamar Miller was going to have a field day with the Dallas Cowboys defense, but I was wrong.

Miami abandoned the running game in the second half and nothing was achieved in the passing game.  Dallas played an exceptional game with Tony Romo back as the quarterback.  Miami was down early and could not muster any momentum in this game.

Bad decisions on offense and having a number of bad penalties cost the Dolphins in trying to get back into this game.  The game was actually a great game to watch, and the Miami Dolphins were making a game out of it, but with a non-existing running game and the defense not being able to stop the Dallas run game made it hard for the Dolphins to put and stop the Cowboys from putting points on the board.

Ryan Tannehill had a descent game; he went 13 for 24 for 188 yards. He also had two touchdowns with one interception, which went for a pick six. Tannehill was also sacked three times for the game.  Running back Lamar Miller rushed seven times for 44-yards.  Rookie RB Jay Ajayi had four rushes for 13-yards and no touchdowns for the day.  Wide receiver Jarvis Landry still showed that he is pro-bowl material with four receptions for 66-yards.  He was all over the field gaining yards as a punt and kick returner.  He accumulated a total of 45-yards running the ball back for the Miami Dolphins.

Sorry to say this Fins fans but with this loss, I believe that the Dolphins will miss the playoffs for the seventh year in a row.  I also see this loss as the end of the Dan Campbell era as the interim head coach of the Miami Dolphins.  I hope I am wrong in this prediction; cause I think he is good for the team and has proven he can be a head coach in this league.  I just see the Dolphins going with a more veteran coach to lead Miami to the playoffs next year.

You cannot win games with going one for ten on third down conversions, and also having nine penalties for the game.  You cannot win games when your defense cannot stop the run, which continues to be the Dolphins downfall and WILL continue to be, until the end of the season.

From what I have seen for the coaching staff and players I do not see the Dolphins throwing in the towel, I hope they keep their heads up high and work hard and try to win the remainder of their games.  They need to prove to ownership that they are still a talented team, which needs help in certain positions to be a great team.

Next up for the Fins, is a road trip to New York to take on the Jets.

Fins Up!!!
