The 1972 Miami Dolphins remain perfect.

With the Carolina Panthers loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the 1972 Miami Dolphins remain as the only NFL team ever to win every regular season game and the Super Bowl in the same season.

The Panthers were slated to make a perfect run after starting 12-0, with a fairly easy schedule remaining. They still possess the NFL's best record at (14-1). 

Led by Larry Csonka and Bob Griese, the 1972 Dolphins' Offense proved too dominant for the rest of the league, as they capped off an epic season with a perfect record.
