Miami Dolphins Looking to Start New Regime

As The Miami Dolphins are preparing for their last season game against the division leading New England Patriots, let’s look at what will happen after Sunday.

With the firing of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, is there any chance he could end up in Miami.  Personally speaking I hope not.  In the last couple of years that Kelly was in charge he released or traded his top players and got nothing in return.  Other names being thrown around are offensive coordinators from the New York Giants (Ben McAdooI), from the Chicago Bears (Adam Gase), and defensive coordinator from the Detroit Lions (Teryl Austin).  Any of these top tier coaches would be a welcome addition to the Miami Dolphins.

There was some talk about New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton in the mix of being the next coach, but I can him staying in New Orleans for the next year or two.

As for interim head coach Dan Campbell as much as I personally like his ways.  Being a motivational coach is not enough to run a team, experience goes a long way and he just is not the perfect fit for the Dolphins right now.  I hope he stays on as an assistant coach in some capacity; I believe he has earned that.

After this Monday when the Dolphins' season is officially done, we will have a new head coach at the helm and the total rebuilding of the Miami Dolphins will begin.  In the win now league of the NFL, Miami fans are tired of the way the Dolphins have been run on and off the field, a positive change has to come and come fast and winning has to be the new mantra for the Dolphins going forward.
