The Dolphins are starting to get nicked up as training camp rolls along, with wide receiver Oronde Gadsden the latest player to get injured.

Gadsden was carted off the field during practice on Wednesday morning with an ankle injury. The Dolphins were expected to know more about his condition either late Wednesday or Thursday.

-- Linebacker Tommy Hendricks sustained a lower leg injury when he collided with safety Shawn Wooden in a team drill. He missed practice on Wednesday morning, although the injury isn't considered serious.

Other players missing practice time include CB Patrick Surtain (resting his knee), DT Tim Bowens (same), G Jamie Nails (shoulder) and WR James McKnight (shoulder).

-- DE Jason Taylor missed the Wednesday morning practice because of illness.

-- FB Rob Konrad was back at practice on Wednesday after being excused Tuesday for personal reasons.

-- WR Derrius Thompson continues to be the star of training camp. The guy has been absolutely phenomenal.
