Dolphins News You May Have Missed

With the hiring of three new assistants, the Miami Dolphins look like they are heading in the right direction.

New head coach Adam Gase hired 14-year assistant Clyde Christensen as offensive coordinator on Tuesday.  Former offensive assistant Bo Hardegree and seven year Detroit Lion’ offensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn as an assistant offensive line coach. Wow, that’s a ton of experience in these positions. I am very curious to see what Gase will do on the defensive side.

I won’t lie; usually I do not watch the Pro Bowl. There is really no reason why I don’t, but now that two of my favorite players from the Miami Dolphins will now be playing in it, I will be watching to see wide receiver Jarvis Landry and tackle Branden Albert put on a show and prove that they should have been added to the Pro Bowl in the first place and not as injury replacements. Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Trent Williams of the Washington Redskins were replaced this week.  The one selection from the Miami Dolphins, center Mike Pouncy is out with a foot/ankle injury, and had to withdraw from the game.

In case you have not heard there are two exciting Championship games this weekend. I am personally pulling for the Carolina Panthers to get a win over the Arizona Cardinals and as much as I dislike both teams equally, I am hoping the Denver Broncos get a win over the New England Patriots.

Enjoy both games this weekend, and I am very excited in the direction the Miami Dolphins are going with their coaching staff.  I am very excited to see what Adam Gase has in-store in the future.
