Miami Dolphins Release WR Greg Jennings

The Miami Dolphins saved $4 million dollars in cap space by cutting veteran WR Greg Jennings.

The fact that the Miami Dolphins cut WR Greg Jennings comes as no surprise as the move saved the team almost $4 million in cap space. The team has also re-structured the contracts of Koa Misi and Ndamukong Suh. Suh was the biggest signing in free agency just a year ago, and the move will allow the Dolphins to add much needed help in other areas of the team.

As for Jennings, the veteran provided almost no help to a deep wide receiver unit, totaling just 19 catches and 1 touchdown in 16 games for the Dolphins.

The team also tenderes six exclusive-rights free agents including Matt HazelMichael Thomas and Jake Stoneburner.
