DE Mario Williams Visits Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills released former Top 5 pick Mario Williams, who has already visited, and left, the Miami Dolphins' facility.

This past Saturday, former Buffalo Bills DE Mario Williams visited the Miami Dolphins for basically the entire day.

While he left without a deal, this does not mean that Williams will not become a Dolphin. What it does mean is that Williams was not entirely convinced

that he could not get a better deal elsewhere in the league, and thus he wanted to explore further options first. He can sign with any team prior to March 9th, courtesy of the Bills cutting him on March 1st. Williams logged just five sacks in 15 games with the Bills last season, but would be an instant upgrade to a weakened pass rush for the Dolphins if they fail to re-sign Olivier Vernon and Cameron Wake.

Williams was the first overall pick in 2006 by the Houston Texans.
