C.J. Anderson Visits Miami Dolphins

Broncos RB C.J. Anderson might be meeting up with his former coach in South Beach.

C.J. Anderson is visiting the Miami Dolphins today, as the team hopes to find a replacement for Lamar Miller, who signed a huge deal with the Houston Texans yesterday.

Anderson is restricted free agent for the Broncos, meaning the Dolphins will have to find a way to give him a contract that the Broncos can't match. This means that it will likely be a front-loaded contract for Anderson.

Anderson of course has ties with new HC of the Dolphins Adam Gase, who served as Anderson's OC in Denver just a few seasons ago. This would be the 2nd RB the Dolphins have poached from the Broncos, as they signed Knowshon Moreno two seasons ago as a FA.

The time is now for the Dolphins to add a veteran running back, otherwise they will have to roll with unproven sophomore Jay Ajayi, who played a limited role as a backup behind Miller last year in the backfield.
