In Round one, the Miami Dolphins will have the 13th overall pick in the draft after a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, which saw Miami’s original 8th pick sent to the Eagles for cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso.
Round Two – they will have the 11th selection (42nd overall)
Round Three – they will have the 10th selection (73rd overall)
Round Four – they will have the 9th selection (107th overall)
Round Five – they will have the 8th selection (147th overall)
Round Six – they will have the 11th selection (186th overall)
Round Seven – they will have two picks, the 6th selection (227th overall) and the 10th selection (231st overall).
Would it not be very interesting if we heard the Commissioner say, “With the 13th pick in the 2016 draft, the Miami Dolphins select, from the University of Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa”.
In my opinion, there is no way that the Florida native will be available that late in the draft. But, in saying that, stranger things have happened on draft day. It all depends on what the teams in front on the Dolphins need to complete their rosters. Maybe just maybe no one will be interested in having a potential star defensive end in their line-up.
Cross your fins and your flippers and lets hope that the teams ahead of the Dolphins pick, overlook Joey Bosa and Miami lands an explosive and exciting player to its roster for the 2016 season.
Yes, I am dreaming but you really never know.
