A hacker hacked their way into Laremy Tunsil’s instagram account and posted pictures of Tunsil smoking out of a bong, which was made out of a gas mask. This was posted before the draft started and moved Tunsil out of the top ten and made him available to the Miami Dolphins.
To make matters worse the hackers posted screenshots of Tunsil asking for money to pay bills from his old college Ole Miss assistant athletic director John Miller.
In a press conference Tunsil is on record as saying “I made a mistake,” as well as “That happened.”
What is a saving grace for Tunsil is that Ole Miss has released a statement saying it was aware of the reports and are investigating the allegations.
Another saving grace is that Tunsil reportedly admitted to the video of him smoking a bong as “ I made that mistake several years ago.”
Miami’s GM Chris Grier quickly released a statement stating that they knew about the story behind the incident before they selected Tunsil.
Wow, what a way to get pick in the draft. Yes, these issues are serious but can be rectified and have been brought out in the spotlight early and all parties involved know about it.
