The Miami Dolphins' HC Adam Gase had the pleasure of serving as Peyton Manning's QB coach with the Denver Broncos, where the two were able to share their vast knowledge of the game and learn from each other.
Now that knowledge is being passed on to Miami QB and Gase's new apprentice Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill was able to sit down with Manning and Gase and get to know more about Gase's offense from one of the best quarterbacks of all time in Manning.
When they met, Tannehill was still prohibited from meeting with the coaches and was therefore learning things he did not know about Gase's playbook from Manning. Tannehill also said that it was clear that Manning trusted and valued his time with Gase in Denver, which included a run to the Super Bowl.
These are all fantastic things to hear about a new head coach, especially for a team that is coming off a regime of a coach who wanted a new QB right before his first season with the team, a QB that wasn't Tannehill.
