Miami Dolphins Sign DE Jason Jones

The Miami Dolphins have added to their already talented defensive line by adding DE Jason Jones.

The Miami Dolphins have added another former Detroit Lions defensive lineman, this time adding not Ndamukong Suh. but rather defensive end Jason Jones.

The 6-foot-5, 272-pound Jones is coming off a three-year stint with the Lions. He had 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbled with the team over the past two seasons. Jones will not start for the Dolphins as they already have Derrick ShelbyCameron Wake and Mario Williams in the rotation at defensive end, but he will add great depth to the position.

Jones began his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans, where he spent his first four years, then moved to the Seattle Seahawks, where he started 12 games for the team before moving once more to the Lions.
