Chosen by the players this list compiles the top 100 players in the NFL each year. This year the players of the NFL have chosen Ndamukong Suh, defensive tackle at number 40, safety Reshad Jones at 64, and outstanding wide receiver Jarvis Landry at number 98.
In my opinion, Suh and Reshad were given respectable placement on the list. But to have Jarvis Landry come in at number 98. I have a problem with this.
Landry was a living highlight reel throughout the entire 2015/16 season, from outstanding one handed grabs to incredible runs after the catch, where he stopped defenses in their shoes for added yardage and touchdowns. I ask you, who else other than Odell Beckham Jr. put up more stellar plays this past season.
To put some perspective on this, Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant who was injured most of last season landed at the 50th spot on the list. Landry played the entire season and made huge contributions on the field to help Miami win games. For this alone he should be placed higher on the list, not mentioning again…that he is a highlight reel player.
Okay, yes you can say I’m bias, because I think Jarvis Landry is one of the best if not the BEST wide receivers in the league today, also I am a die hard Miami Dolphins fan, and I am also a die hard Jarvis Landry fan, I can see why you would think I am a little bias. But Landry’s play and presence on and off the field make him one of the best WR’s in today’s game. You have to at least agree with that.
Congrats guy’s on making this list and can’t wait till you and other Miami Dolphins make this list year after year after year.
