On Tuesday it has been reported that cornerback Xavien Howard sustained a knee injury during practice and is in jeopardy in not playing on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Head Coach Adam Gase is quoted in saying that the injury “is not a major deal” and will be evaluated during the week. If Howard is not able to play Byron Maxwell will line up opposite Tony Lippett for Sunday’s match-up.
Running back Arian Foster, who has been out for the last two games due to a groin/hamstring injury has participated in individual part of practices. The coaching staff, are not in any hurry to rush his return. In my opinion, rush his return. The Dolphins need him, and need him immediately.
Left tackle Branden Albert, has been sick the last two practices, but Coach Gase is expecting Albert to be ready for Sunday.
Players who also have not practiced the last two days include linebacker Jelani Jenkins (groin) and tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion). Koa Misi, Mike Pouncey, and Anthony Steen were all listed as limited in practice.
Miami will be matched up with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday which might pose as a low scoring affair. Both offenses haven’t put up too many touchdowns in their opposition's end zone and this weekend doesn’t look like that streak will change for either team. I’m hoping the Dolphins add one more point then the Titans which are all that is needed to improve in the win column.
