One day after getting down to the NFL-mandated roster limit of 65 (not counting players with roster exemptions), the Dolphins made another move on Wednesday.

Like most of what they've done so far, this one came as no surprise. The Dolphins waived kicker Rob Hart, giving him an injury settlement. Hart had been sidelined by a hamstring injury, not that he ever had any shot of unseating Olindo Mare for the kicking job.

On Tuesday, the Dolphins took care of their other business by waiving/injured offensive tackle Jarvis Borum, who recently underwent triceps surgery, and moving defensive end David Bowens from the active/non-football injury list to reserve/NFI.

The move means Bowens has to sit out the first six weeks of the season and can only be activated between weeks six and nine.

Bowens, of course, is rehabbing after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL, an injury he sustained at home a few weeks before the start of training camp.
