Are the Miami Dolphins Playoff Bound?

The Miami Dolphins have put themselves in sole possession of second place in the tough AFC Division with an electrifying interception by Kiko Alonso.

Kiko Alonso tricked San Diego’s QB Philip Rivers into thinking he was going to fall back to cover a slot receiver, then broke his route off and jumped in front of WR Tyrell Williams for the interception that would see Alonso out-ran everyone, with an incredible 60-yard run into the end zone with only a minute left in the game to give the Dolphins a 31-24 victory and give the Miami Dolphins their fourth straight win for the season.

The Miami defense had intercepted Rivers four times in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning interception return.

As for the offensive output, Two-time offensive player of the week RB Jay Ajayi had 79 yards and two big runs to set up two touchdowns by RB Damien Williams. This ended Ajayi’s streak of three straight 100-yards games. Which is okay cause Ajayi has to save something in the tank for the rest of the season.

With the win, Miami sees themselves in seventh position in the AFC Division and second place in the AFC East. The Dolphins will look to continue this incredible win streak against the Los Angeles Rams in week 11 and look to close the gap on the first place New England Patriots.
