The Miami Dolphins have cut three veteran players.
The Miami Dolphins will release LT Branden Albert, DE Mario Williams, and Earl Mitchell today, per sources.
All moves were made in interest of money, barring Mario Williams, who failed to perform as the Dolphins hoped he would in 2016.
With Albert's release, expect the Dolphins to swing Laremy Tunsil outside to LT, and pursue a veteran guard such as Larry Warford or Kevin Zeitler in free agency.
Mitchell and Williams are positions that also need filling, and Nick Fairley is a popular name floating around Miami. He played alongside Ndamukong Suh for the Detroit Lions.
The Dolphins will have the opportunity to also add depth to these positions through the draft.
UPDATE: The Miami Dolphins have not cut Branden Albert.
