TE Anthony Fasano to Miami Dolphins Again

With TE Dion Sims likely heading to the Bears, the Miami Dolphins are bringing back former TE Anthony Fasano.

Who was the starting TE for the Miami Dolphins the last time they made the playoffs (before this past season) in 2008?

Anthony Fasano.

The former Tennessee Titans TE is heading back to his old team, per NFL Trade Rumors and other sources. The 11 year vet spent from 2008-2012 with the Dolphins before going to Kansas City and then Tennessee, where he spent the past two seasons.

According to Jeff Darlington, the deal is for five years.

This signing is likely a result of the Dolphins losing Dion Sims to the Chicago Bears earlier today.

Fasano is a good blocking TE who can catch passes in play action. He will be used primarily for blocking with MarQueis Gray, leaving Julius Thomas to catch passes.

FINS UP AND WELCOME BACK ANTHONY FASANO!
