Scott Gallimore: "The Browns have gotten burned in the first round in recent history, so they won't play any games this year. Garrett is all but locked in at the top spot this year."
Eric Roddy: "In a surprise first round move, the 49ers take Mahomes. Mahomes has risen up boards lately, and Kyle Shanahan gets his franchise QB to mold from the get go. This is a risky, but understandable move."
Gallimore: "It looks like the Bears will use a bridge QB in 2017, allowing them to rebuild on defense with a play making machine in the secondary."
Roddy: "The Jaguars recently released Sen'Derrick Marks, and Solomon Thomas might be the safest pick in the draft not named Myles Garrett. This pick makes sense."
Gallimore: "If the trade calls don't come pouring in, the Titans will take the best corner in the draft, their biggest team need."
Roddy: "Whoever ends up playing QB for the Jets in 2017 gets an enormous boost from Howard, a freak athlete. The Jets need all sorts of help on both sides of the ball, but add a dynamic play-maker to replace Brandon Marshall."
Gallimore: "The Chargers 4-3 scheme calls for more bulk up front. Allen complements Bosa to form a threatening young front line."
Roddy: "Despite signing Jonathan Stewart to a one year extension, the Panthers get a franchise back that can pound it inside and burst one to the edge. Fournette is the perfect addition to a gritty Panthers offense."
Gallimore: "The Bengals add a high quality edge rusher to the front seven, and perhaps the best pick available here."
Roddy: "With the loss of LB Zach Brown, the Bills add the dynamic Reddick to pair with MLB Reggie Ragland. Reddick is a three down backer who can do it all and will fit nicely under new HC Sean McDermott."
