Dolphins Report NFL Mock Draft: Miami Dolphins 5th Round Picks

The Dolphins Report Staff give their picks for the Miami Dolphins´ three 5th round draft picks in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Miami Dolphins currently have three picks in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Those picks are 116th, 178th, and 184th overall.

Eric Roddy, Publisher, 166th overall: Dawuane Smoot, DE, Illinois

I think the Dolphins will wait to address the Guard situation until their second or third pick of the 5th round, and add another edge rusher to pair with first round pick Taco Charlton. His athleticism is tremendous, and with some developing, he could work into the defensive line rotation as a key piece early.

Richard Adams, Deputy Editor: Jermaine Eluemunor, OG, Texas A&M Aggies

Eluemenor´s ability to pull and zone block make him the perfect fit for the Dolphins, who saw great production from Jay Ajayi last season. Eluemunor could immediately challenge both Jermon Bushrod and Ted Larsen as a starter, giving the Dolphins great value in Round 5.

Michael Hernandez, Draft Analyst: Matt Milano, OLB, Boston College

The Dolphins need to draft multiple LBer´s to fill out the unity, and Milano is a smart and savvy outside LB who had 6.5 sacks each of his last two seasons. His ability to rush the passer give the Dolphins an OLB that can come off the edge on third down.
