Miami Dolphins Take OL Forrest Lamp in Sirius XM Fantasy Mock Draft

Richard Adams from Dolphins Report joined Sirius Fantasy XM Radio to simulate the Miami Dolphins' 22nd overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

With the 22nd overall pick in the 2017 Sirius XM Fantasy Mock Draft the Miami Dolphins select...

Offensive Lineman Forrest LampWestern Kentucky Hilltoppers.

Richard Adams, Deputy Editor of Dolphins Report, spoke on air this morning after making this selection as a part of Sirius XM's Fantasy Mock Draft:

"This was a tough decision, as the Dolphins have multiple needs on both sides of the ball, but I think they are going to go Best Player Available and stick to their draft board, so I have them picking Lamp.
Lamp is a Day 1 starter at Guard for the Dolphins, and strengthens the left side of the line. The Dolphins will move last year's first round pick Laremy Tunsil to his natural left tackle position, and Lamp will start next to him at left guard. This is a safe pick for the Dolphins, who need to make sure Ryan Tannehill does not get hit coming off his season-ending knee injury. Lamp's tape against Alabama really stood out to me, he completely held his own and even dominated some really good Alabama defensive linemen. He can be a cornerstone on this Dolphins line for years to come. The team loves him and has him highly rated"
