The Miami Dolphins now have three players inside the NFL´s Top 100 players list.
There is no doubt that these three players are more than deserving in their inclusion in the list.
Ajayi, coming in at 69th on the list, had a breakout year after being benched and left at home Week 1 when the Dolphins traveled to Seattle. He responded by uprooting Arian Foster for the starting job, and finishing with 1,272 yards on 260 attempts. He will be the featured back in his second year under Adam Gase´s offense, and can be expected to climb this list next year.
Coming in at 62nd, Cameron Wake was in the running for comeback player of the year last year, after suffering a season ending injury in 2015 and coming back to record 11.5 sacks, an interception and 2 passes defended last year. Wake´s most amazing stat is that he accomplished what he accomplished last season at age 34 years old (he turned 35 in January).
No stranger to the list, the most recent Miami Dolphins player on the list was Ndamukong Suh, coming in at 55th overall. Suh, who in my opinion is the second best DT in the league behind Los Angeles´ Aaron Donald, belongs higher on this list. His production is unbelievable given the amount of double teams and attention he is given, opening up plays for those around him. Suh finished with 5 sacks last season, and came up with a huge knocked down pass in Week 16 on the road against Buffalo, giving the Dolphins the ball back on what would end up being the game winning drive in overtime.
Congrats to all three players for making this list!
