Cornerback Sam Madison practiced on Friday and, barring any setback between now and game time, he will line up at right cornerback when the Dolphins take on the New York Jets on Sunday.

Safety Shawn Wooden also practiced, but his status will be a game-time decision.

In other injury news, tackle Mark Dixon went to see a doctor to get a second opinion on his surgically repaired ankle, which has kept him out for the last several weeks.

There is still no word as to when Dixon will return, but it doesn't look like it will happen before the bye, which comes after next week's game against Buffalo.

In other news:

-- The offensive line will remain the same despite Coach Dave Wannstedt's comments earlier this week that he might make a change.

But Wannstedt did say that Seth McKinney would get additional playing time against the Jets.

-- Wannstedt didn't have much to say about a published report indicated the NFL had admitted blowing seven calls in the loss to Houston, including that huge (and atrocious) holding penalty on Randy McMichael that negated a Ricky Williams 48-yard run that probably would have put the game away in the third quarter.

"To be honest with you, the game is gone and over with," Wannstedt said. "Our total focus and my focus is this weekend with the Jets. So I have no comment other than that."
