In what would become a win-and-in situation for the Miami Dolphins last year in Week 16, the team went into a freezing cold New Era Field and came away with a huge 34-31 OT win on a late Saturday afternoon.

The hero of the game? Kicker Andrew Franks was one, connecting on a ridiculously difficult 55-yard field goal to send the game into OT as time expired.
However, in OT, after a pair of possessions by both teams, backup QB Matt Moore handed the ball off to RB Jay Ajayi who took the ball deep into Buffalo territory on a 57-yard scamper. After taking the ball a few more times and grinding out yards (with an injured shoulder), Ajayi set up the game-winning field goal from Franks.
Just like that, the Dolphins were 10-5 and already in the playoffs with a week left in the regular season.
Ajayi finished the game with 206 yards on 32 carries, the second time he reached the 200+ yard mark against Buffalo in the same season.
The Dolphins, despite getting trounced on the ground all game by Buffalo's rushing attack, demonstrated their new winning culture by continuing to fight and forget about past mistakes. Andrew Frank's 55-yard field goal as regulation expired lifted the team heading into OT, where a missed Dan Carpenter (a former Miami Dolphin) gave the Dolphins life on offense.
