Safety Brock Marion was held out of practice on Wednesday because of a thigh bruise, but the Dolphins expect him to be ready to play Sunday against the Bills.

Coach Dave Wannstedt said he expected Marion to be ready to practice on Thursday.

-- Both safety Shawn Wooden (hamstring) and cornerback Sam Madison (ankle) practiced on Wednesday and should be ready to go Sunday.

-- The only players who definitely won't play against the Bills are quarterback Brian Griese (toe) and tackle Mark Dixon (ankle). Griese did some throwing on Wednesday, while Dixon did some running, but neither player is ready to return to action for the first time this regular season.

-- With quarterback Clint Stoerner released from the practice squad on Tuesday to make room for center Joe Iorio, linebacker Corey Jenkins is expected to take some snaps at quarterback on Thursday.

With Griese out, Jenkins currently stands as the Dolphins' third quarterback. Remember that Jenkins was a quarterback at South Carolina last year before being switched to safety for the last two games of the season.

-- Wannstedt said the plan for Sunday was to again use both Tim Ruddy and Seth McKinney at center, although he wasn't exactly sure how the playing time would be divided.
