The Dolphins face a difficult task trying to beat the red-hot New England Patriots, and that task might become even harder. That's because Zach Thomas has been added to the injury report because of a hip injury.

Thomas said Thursday he probably wouldn't until game time whether he'd be able to play.

If Thomas can't go, then look for Tommy Hendricks to replace him in the starting lineup.

The last time Thomas missed a start was against Tennessee back in early November, and we all remember what happened that day when the Titans dismantled the Dolphins defense in a 31-7 victory.

-- The weather could be nasty Sunday at New England, with snow in the forecast.

That won't be a problem if Ricky Williams can pull off the kind of performance he had in a blizzard at Buffalo last December.
