The Dolphins re-signed their second restricted free agent in two days Tuesday when quarterback Sage Rosenfels agreed to a one-year contract. That came one day after the Dolphins re-signed linebacker Morlon Greenwood.
They were two of the team's four restricted free agents, along with running back Travis Minor
and defensive end Adewale Ogunleye
, who remains the subject of trade rumors as the 2004 draft approaches.
As for Rosenfels, he appeared in two games last year, getting mop-up duty in the Thanksgiving Day rout of Dallas and in the blowout loss at Tennessee.
He threw passes only in the Tennessee game, completing 4 of 6 for 50 yards and a touchdown, a 21-yarder to rookie tight end Donald Lee.
Rosenfels once again figures to be the Dolphins' No. 3 quarterback, this time behind newcomer A.J. Feeley and Jay Fiedler.
