Dolphins make moves

The Dolphins' adjustment of the roster continues to be a work in progress, and the team made a couple more moves on Tuesday. The move notable involved the re-signing of cornerback Jimmy Wyrick and the release of linebacker Corey Jenkins.

Also on Tuesday, the Dolphins signed wide receiver Todd Devoe and running back Vick King to the practice squad, making room for them by releasing cornerback Eric Joyce and tight end Hart Turner.

Wyrick was released by the Dolphins on Sept. 6 after originally making the 53-man roster because the team needed a roster spot after claiming both Jamar Martin and Lamont Brightful off waivers.

Jenkins was expendable because the Dolphins had eight linebackers, an unusually high number. Jenkins was inactive in the Dolphins' season opener against Tennessee.

Devoe was in camp with Baltimore this year before being released by the Ravens on Sept 5. He was on the Baltimore practice squad all of last season and played with Cologne of the NFL Europe League this past spring.

As for King, he was an undrafted free agent from McNeese State who went to camp with Tennessee this summer. In the preseason, he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
