Sammy Morris will become the fourth different player to start at running back for the Dolphins this season when the Dolphins play at Buffalo on Sunday. The news came on Friday when it also became official that first-round pick Vernon Carey will get his second start at right tackle.
The other position to be determined this week was quarterback, and it's looking like it will be Jay Fiedler
after he took most of the snaps in practice on Friday.
Both Fiedler and A.J. Feeley are listed as questionable for Sunday's game, but both should be available to play against the Bills.
At running back, Morris will follow Travis Minor, who started against Tennessee, Lamar Gordon (Cincinnati and Pittsburgh) and Leonard Henry (Jets, New England).
It's expected that Brock Forsey and Henry will be Morris' backup Sunday, meaning Minor probably will sit out another game because of the ankle injury he sustained in the opener against Tennessee.
At tackle, Carey gets the start with John St. Clair being ruled out on Friday.
Carey didn't do too poorly last Sunday at New England, which actually can be considered a major achievement given the state of the offensive line.
