Veteran guard Jeno James was taken to a local hospital following Wednesday night's practice, but there were no further details as to what happened to him.
James took practice in the two-hour practice on Wednesday night and did not appear to get injured. The Dolphins would not comment on James' situation afterward, other than confirm he had been taken to a hospital.
"He was taken to a local hospital," said team spokesman Harvey Greene. "We will have no comment beyond that until we know more tomorrow (Thursday)."
James started 14 games for the Dolphins at left guard last season after coming over from Carolina as an unrestricted free agent.
He has been working with the first offensive line early in training camp.
