Seau practices

Linebacker Junior Seau was back at practice on Thursday, although he remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Buffalo.

Seau is the only player listed on the Dolphins' official injury report.

Seau sustained a calf injury during the Dolphins' 27-24 victory over Carolina on Sept. 25 and had the benefit of the bye to heal.

Buffalo, meanwhile, will be without the services of starting defensive tackle Ron Edwards, who has a shoulder injury.

Speaking of the Bills, Kelly Holcomb indeed will start at quarterback in place of JP Losman Sunday.

Wide receiver Eric Moulds acknowledged the switch to reporters on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Dolphins players were downplaying the significance, saying the Bills could go back to Losman at anytime.

"We really don't know exactly," said linebacker Zach Thomas. "They could start him and then after one series bring J.P. back in. They are not going to tell you everything they are going to do. You have to prepare for both and you have to be ready for both. I'm sure they want to get a little spark going, but we've just got to take care of ourselves first and we have to stop Willis (McGahee) first, then take care of the rest of it."

Coach Nick Saban and his players were happy with the news that Miami has been awarded the 2010 Super Bowl.

"It's good to have it down here," Thomas said. "They should have it either here, Houston or San Diego. They should always have it at those three spots and just rotate. That's the way they should do it. You have to keep the great weather for the Super Bowls. You don't need a dome. I'm not trying to politic for us down here, but it's really a great place to play down here. There is a lot of things to do and the city is prepared for a Super Bowl will all the people."
