Showtime for Sage?

Those who have been clamoring for Sage Rosenfels to get his chance at quarterback possible could be getting their wish this week. Gus Frerotte has become a question mark for Sunday's game at Cleveland after he injured his index finger in the loss to New England.

We should know more about Frerotte's status on Wednesday when the Dolphins begin their preparations for the game against the Browns, but you can expect Frerotte to be listed as questionable.

Frerotte was injured when he banged his right index finger on a helmet, and there apparently was a lot of swelling involved on Monday.

Saban, incidentally, praised Frerotte's work in the New England game after the quarterback passed for 360 yards and indicated the coaches had made him the team's offensive player of the week.

As for Rosenfels, a start against Cleveland would be the second of his career.

You may remember he started last year's finale at Baltimore and struggled after throwing a 76-yard touchdown pass to Chris Chambers on the first play of the game.

Defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday has a sore foot as the result of getting stepped on during Sunday's game, but he should be able to play against the Browns.

Former Dolphins offensive tackle Todd Wade sustained a knee injury in Houston's 31-17 loss to Indianapolis last Sunday and he's expected to land on injured reserve.
