Brown still on target

Ronnie Brown again practice on Thursday, and Coach Nick Saban said the rookie running back was making improvement in regards to his injured ankle/knee. Brown remains the only player listed on the Dolphins' injury report.

Brown needs 114 yards rushing Sunday against New England to reach 1,000 yards for the season.

The Dolphins didn't get any Player of the Week awards for their victory over Tennessee, but they had nominees for offense, defense and special teams.

Ricky Williams was nominated on offense for his 172 yards rushing, but the award went to Chiefs running back Larry Johnson.

Vonnie Holliday, who had a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, was nominated on defense; the award went to Steelers linebacker Joey Porter.

Finally, punter Donnie Jones was nominated for special teams after averaging over 40 net yards, but the award went to Bills kickoff returner Terrence McGee.
